Pan-fried ground beef with onion and arugula
A quick warm dinner: juicy ground beef with soft onion and fresh arugula. It cooks in a pan in just a few minutes and works well for a light evening meal.

Cooking
- 1Prepare the ingredients: peel the onion and cut it into thin half-moons, then rinse and dry the arugula.
- 2Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it up with a spatula so there are no large clumps.
- 3Cook the beef for 4–5 minutes, stirring, until it starts changing color evenly.
- 4Add the onion, a pinch of salt, and pepper. If the pan looks dry, add 1 tsp water. Stir well.
- 5Cook for another 4–5 minutes until the onion softens and the beef is fully cooked.
- 6Remove from the heat, add the arugula, and toss for 10–15 seconds so it wilts slightly but stays fresh.
- 7Serve immediately while warm.
